The first harvest was in mid-November and the harvests went on up to December 2024 which was the end of the first growing period.I managed to harvest 78 kgs where each kilogram was sold at 15,000 UGX which gave in total 1,170,000 UGX (= 291 Euro)
I began selling the 78 kg fresh oyster mushrooms to local markets and established relationships with key buyers in Kampala. To get a good entrance to the market I launched a brand identity for the mushroom business, including packaging design and marketing materials.
